A winter weather advisory is being issued for the southern half of New Hampshire, with 3- to 6- inches of snow possible by the time the low pressure system moves to the northeast.

The forecast calls for snow flurries to begin later Monday night, and include a chance of scattered showers. Steady snow is expected after midnight and through Tuesday morning.

The National Weather Service reports that communities in the advisory area can expect a range of accumulation between 2-4 inches on the low end. Concord, Keene, Laconia, Lebanon, Manchester, Nashua and Plymouth could see 5-7 inches, on the high end of the projections.

Snow is expected to turn to sleet and rain for coastal communities.

There is a chance of snow flurries Wednesday afternoon, with skies clearing that night. Thanksgiving Day and Friday should be mostly sunny, with temperatures near the low 20s.
