It's NASCAR Weekend, And That Means Heavy Traffic In N.H.

It’s NASCAR weekend at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, which means traffic could be a problem for anyone traveling near Loudon, Concord and surrounding towns.

The state’s transportation operations director Dave Rodrigue says as many as 33,000 vehicles are expected to pour into the area for Sunday's race.

"The big picture is that people should expect delays on 93 northbound and route 106 northbound in the morning from Concord through Loudon," he says.

Other delays are likely throughout the day along Route 106, I-93 and I-393. Anyone planning to travel through the area should check for travel advisories on the New Hampshire Department of Transportation website.
